After LeBron James’ relatively quiet departure from his “hometown” team the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise is left with a huge whole to fill in their roster; a 6′8″, 250 pound, 6-time All-Star, 2-time NBA MVP sized whole to be a tad more precise.
With no more established superstars left, and none, seemingly, selected in this year’s draft, the Cavaliers are in the search for an heir to the throne of the “King”; Kyle Lowry seems fitting.
Lowry is a hard-nosed point guard that isn’t afraid to play “among the trees”- as is the case with mostly all guards from today’s Villanova University- there is the possibility to boost his stats by going to the free-throw line more frequently. Because with LeBron having the ability to go out and, seemingly, get a triple-double almost every game Kyle Lowry’s 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists a game career average will need all the padding it can get.
I guess if Kyle stands on the the shoulders of Mo Williams and they practice strenuously during to summer to get their collective equilibrium in tune…think about it. They could even switch depending on what is needed for the particular situation. Williams is a known sharpshooter from 3-point range, and even Dwight Howard can’t block a shot starting at 12 feet in the air; Lowry is the more aggressive guard that isn’t scared to take the ball to the rim and, maybe, take some punishment along the way.
Just something to think about. If that doesn’t sell you just think which nickname is superior: King or Towering Tandem? Game Over.

LeBron.
