Russell Westbrook Makes The Crowd Go Wild

If you missed the Thunder-Lakers game from last night, you missed a great game. The win by the Thunder was the first in their history, and the home crowd definitely played a huge part in helping the Thunder make that history.

According to Craig Sager, the crazy suit-wearing reporter for TNT, the volume in the Ford Center was as high as 109 decibels; the most it’s ever been in there.

And if you’re one of the people who think that crowd noise doesn’t have an effect on the players, just ask Kobe Bryant, who was well-aware of the extremely noisy crowd. “It was one of the loudest crowds I’ve ever played before in the postseason. … It was like the barn in Sacramento. It was really loud.”

Obviously, the crowd is not going to go nuts if there is nothing to go nuts about. So, what did the Thunder do that was so awesome?

Well, if you check out the following play by Russell Westbrook, I am sure you can get an idea of the kinds of things that made the crowd get so loud.
