Do you remember how there was all this hype surrounding the guy that dunked on LeBron James last summer during LeBron’s own basketball camp?

You know, the guy responsible for the following dunk:

Well, it turns out that the guy can do more than just dunk, he can flat out ball.

The guy I am referring to is none other than Jordan Crawford, who currently plays for Xavier.

Today, in Xavier’s opening game of the NCAA Tournament, Crawford torched the Minnesota Golden Gophers for 28 points, including 5-11 from downtown. 17 of his points came in the second half, when Xavier pulled away from Minnesota and took the game for good.

As I was watching him play, I knew his name sounded familiar, but I just couldn’t place him. Then when I realized it was the guy who dunked on LeBron last summer, I couldn’t believe it.

I’m sure after the great performance, Crawford got many congratulatory phone calls and text messages. I just wonder if LeBron was one of them.

Based on his infamous “no-shake” after his team got ousted from the playoffs last season, I doubt it.
