by One of the big topics in the NFL right now is if Terrell Owens is going to team up with Chad Ochocinco in Cincy. But before any of that is confirmed, T.O. knows that he is going to team up with a former “buddy” on the show Pros vs. Joes.
That “buddy” is, of course, Donovan McNabb.
On the show, Owens, McNabb, and Antonio Gates are going to face Hakeem Olajuwon, Kenny Smith, and Rick Fox in a game of basketball.
(Owens, McNabb, and Gates were all former college basketball players turned football stars, which is the reason why they were placed on the same team.)
Obviously this is not going to be a “serious” game, but it will be fun to see if Owens and McNabb can coexist on the same team. Hopefully, if things do get out of hand, Antonio Gates can get these guys back on the same page and working together.
Even though this is supposed to be a fun game, word on the street is that “Team Football” is preparing for this game with every intention to win it. They even have a special “Me-2″ zone set up, where Owens chases the man with the ball, while the other two players back him up.
I can’t wait to see how that works out.
