Dan Snyder Did NOT Purchase Alligator Furniture

Recently, Washington Redskins‘ owner Dan Snyder was blasted by many people for having spent $600,000 on some alligator furniture.

Well, believe it or not, the alligator purchases were just allegations.

A representative of the Redskins claimed, “Mr. Snyder did not order or buy any alligator desks or chairs.”

Upon hearing this statement, the store-owner (of the store Snyder supposedly purchased the items from) was extremely embarrassed.  “I apologize to all concerned in this matter. I had no knowledge of this. I never use the names of my customers, and my employee lied. She (Claire Gozzo) has been terminated from the company.”

Wow, who would’ve ever thought it had been a lie? Snyder is known for throwing around his money on his players, so why not on his furniture as well?

I have to say, that was a smart move on Gozzo’s part for lying about the whole thing. Look at the buzz that this story is getting. I am sure tons of people will be flocking to the store now. Too bad Gozzo won’t be there when the bonuses start coming in because of the increase in sales.

Come to think of it, dumb move by Gozzo.
