In an attempt to set the dumbest world record of all-time, the Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to get all of their home fans to wear a Snuggie during their March 5th game against the Detroit Pistons.
The name of the record they are trying to break is, ““largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets.”
The first question I have is, “Why is there a world record for largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets?” Seriously, who would think to keep track of such a thing?
The second question I have is, “What does this have to do with the Cleveland Cavaliers?” They already have the best attraction in the game in LeBron James. Are their fans that bad that they really need a ridiculous promotion like this to get butts in the seats?
If this does actually get more people to come to the game, I would feel really bad for the Cavs. If Snuggie Night causes more of a buzz than LeBron James does, than “The King” will surely be out of Cleveland by this summer.

As someone who resides in Cleveland, I can assume that the arena is consistently sold-out. This is just another silly (stupid?) antic from a young team.
Good, I hope so. The stadium should be sold out every game, as long as LeBron is there.
