by If Chad Ochocinco gets his way, which most of the time he does then he will be playing football regardless of an NFL lockout. But rather than collecting touchdowns, he might be scoring goals.
Concerning the potential NFL lockout in 2011 the Cincinnati Bengals receiver tweeted, “this isnt a joke either, i am sad that it might come to this but excited to play futbol in SPAIN until we resume NFL play.”
To make his tweet possibly more credible, Chad Ochocinco decided to add pictures alongside such soccer legends as David Beckham, Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho. Not really sure that proves anything but in a later tweet he brought down those types of criticisms by saying, “people telling me what i can and cant do when it comes to my dreams and goals i have set for myself!!! CHILD PLEASE.”
It is really unfortunate that the NFL most likely will be locked out in 2011, but if it leads to something like Ochocinco playing European style futbol. Then it will be a fun ride to see, even if the NFL will cripple itself just like what happened to the NHL.
