After the National Football Leagues reinstated wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth, the Cleveland Browns wasted no time in announcing his release from the team.
Stallworth of course was suspended for the entire 2009 season because he was driving drunk and killed a pedestrian. I still have no idea how he ended up doing less time than Plaxico Burress. I guess that just goes to show how screwed up our justice system is.
As for Stallworth’s future in the league, I’d be SHOCKED if any team signed him. He was never a good receiver to begin with and after being removed from the game for an entire year I highly doubt he got any better.
