The only way that a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight will happen is if Floyd will drop his ridiculous demand, abide by the boxing commission’s rule, and make this fight happens, otherwise, he can kiss his millions goodbye.
Floyd’s game is over and he’s sequestered. He used to hide from his hole everytime, then comes out to stage an ambush to his prey. Everytime a new boxer comes with lots of following, Floyd is waiting, sensing the smell of mighty buck. That’s the reason why he claimed that all roads lead to him. But now, that’s no longer the case. With the rising of the new exciting warriors under top rank promotion, (Valero, Gamboa and Lopez) Floyd sense an urgency here. He knows that his game will no longer be in play because all these exciting warriors are under Arum’s disposal. And Arum will surely matchup his new horsemen against Pacquiao as soon as the opportunity will present itself. All roads has a new direction now and it’s pointing to Pacquiao. And of course, these new horsemen will definitely make tons of money if they’ll be matched, which they will, against Pacquiao. Inorder for Floyd to make money now, he has to work his ass harder and his fight with Mosley is just the beginning of that rough route he’s taking now. No wonder why he is not happy with Pacquiao because Manny is the stumbling block to all of his comforts. Personally I really think that the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight has been long dead and I don’t think it can be resurrected. Floyd needs to drop his ridiculous demand, which I highly doubt, inorder to resurrect the fight, and if he won’t, then he can kiss all his millions goodbye forever. It’s still not too late though.

Does everybody forget that Floyd was rated p4p#1 for 4 and a half years and only lost it when he retired. I do agree since Floyd did retire Pacquiao has earned the p4p king status and Floyd needs to earn it back. But, you can’t knock a fighter who is a olympic medalist(robbed of gold), 2-time fighter of the year(1998-2007) 6-time world champion in 5 weight classes, undefeated and has been a champion 11 out of his 12 years as a pro. He is fighting Mosley for the WBA belt to make him a 7-time world champion. he has already won the WBC belt in 5 divisions and the IBF welterweight belt. I’m not including the IBO welterweight belt he won and all the ring belts he has for being number #1 in all 5 weight classes. Pacquiao is a 7-time world champion and the only fighter to win titles in 7 weight classes. 3-time fighter of the year, Fighter of the decade, current WBO welterweight champion. How can anyone disrespect these 2 legends? In my opinion Floyd by SD.
