Lane Kiffin Recruits Little Kids

While most coaches are taking a break after just wrapping up their 2010 recruiting classes, Lane Kiffin is out on the road trying to secure verbal commitments from 13-year old kids for his 2015 recruiting class. And since Kiffin is such a great liar recruiter he was able to get a commitment from David Sills, a 7th grader who plays quarterback.

“I’m as shocked as anybody,” Sills’ father said. “I was just talking with friends yesterday about what it’ll be like four years from now when David goes through the recruiting process. I never expected this to happen so soon.

“But David’s always wanted to go to USC. I mean, is there a better place to play football in the country? How can you pass up the best offer you’re ever going to get?”

Hey Lane, I have an unborn baby that’ll be popping out of my wife in a few months. By the looks of her stomach the kid is going to be HUGE, I’m thinking he’ll be great o-tackle material. If you offer him a scholarship today, I’m sure I can convince him to commit before he even learns how to talk.
