by Pete Carroll is just moments away from officially leaving USC to become the new head coach of the Seattle Seahawks and everyone except Carroll knows he’s making a HUGE mistake. He was a horrible NFL head coach in New England and he’ll still be a horrible NFL coach with the pathetic Seahawks.
Mark Sanchez is obviously just joking in the video above, but Carroll would be smart to follow his advice. Don’t just look at the stats, common sense says he’ll be a failure in Seattle. Don’t be surprised if he finds himself back coaching college football in 2011 after a disastrous year with the ‘hawks.
He may be a great leader of kids, but his antics don’t work with grown men.
The numbers don’t bear out your assessment that Carroll was a “horrible” NFL coach. He won the AFC East once and won 10, 9 and 8 games with the Pats. Teams would give guys what Seattle gave Carroll in a heartbeat for those kind of win totals.
